The BRCF Advanced Genomics Core is pleased to announce the addition of a new Illumina NextSeq to our available instrumentation. The Illumina NextSeq 2000 provides the highest cluster density flow cell on the market and offers highly accurate data with greater resolution and higher sensitivity. There are three flow cell formats with multiple read-length configurations, making them ideal for a broad range of applications. Beginning January 2022, the AGC will start phasing out NextSeq 550/550 services and onboarding the NextSeq 2000 services below.
Flow Cell | Reads | Cycles | Default Read Length | Price |

The high-quality data output and reduced reagent costs of the NextSeq 2000 make it a great fit within the AGC sequencing service line, complementing the NovaSeq and replacing the older NextSeq 500/550 instruments. As always, we are happy to help you evaluate your NGS assays to make the best use of our state-of-the-art instrumentation. Please contact advanced-genomics@umich.edu with any questions.
