Michigan Medicine’s Rogel Cancer Center recently announced several new offerings coming to their Shared Resources program.

Two BRCF Cores are now working to provide service to Rogel Cancer Center patrons. The first new offering is the Epigenomics and Epigenetics Shared Resource, directed by Dana Dolinoy, Ph.D., and managed by Claudia Lalancette, Ph.D. of the BRCF Epigenomics Core.

“The Rogel’s establishment of an Epigenetics and Epigenomics (EE) Shared Resource (SR) arose from a long-standing interest among a sizable set of members in evaluating epigenetic drivers, consequences, and potential therapeutic of multiple cancer types. We are very excited to be able to offer tailored approaches to increase member awareness and usage of epigenetic and epigenomic assays related to cancer research and clinical translation” says Dana Dolinoy and Claudia Lalancette of the BRCF Epigenomics Core.

Additionally, the Rogel Single Cell Analysis Shared Resource has merged with the BRCF Advanced Genomics Core and has been renamed the Single Cell and Spatial Analysis Shared Resource. This shared resource is co-directed by Tom Wilson, M.D., Ph.D., and Evan Keller, D.V.M., Ph.D., and managed by Olivia Koues, Ph.D.

Congratulations to both the Advanced Genomics and Epigenomics Cores on building new partnerships with the Rogel Cancer Center, further supporting all of you in our research community.
