[updated: September 1, 2020]
As part of Phase 1 Wave 2 of the Medical School Research Reactivation Process, research ramp-up included the Advanced Genomics Core located within building 14 of the North Campus Research Complex (NCRC).
It remains important to understand that in response to COVID-19, AGC operations were required to change in order to bring our employees back to the lab safely. We updated many of our policies and procedures to reflect the recommended best practices and guidelines.
- To maintain social distancing among staff, the AGC currently operates two shifts. As such, some services (e.g. single cell appointments) are unavailable during certain times. MiCores calendars have been updated to reflect service availability.
- Standard sample submissions resumed Monday, June 15th. To limit contact, sample drop-off procedures were altered. For the most up-to-date sample drop-off instructions, see our updated sample drop-off instructions page.
- Unused samples can no longer be retrieved. Please submit an aliquot only.
- Consultations are now virtual. The AGC offers weekly Virtual Office Hours. Please contact us about booking an appointment.
Thank you all for your patience and cooperation as we continue to adapt and maintain AGC operations at the University of Michigan during these less than ideal times. Please contact us with any questions.
