RT2 Profiler Targeted Gene Expression Analysis


SABiosciences, A QIAGEN Company, offers RT² Profiler PCR Arrays. These targeted arrays analyze expression of a panel of 84 genes associated with any one of over 150 biological pathways or specific disease states. PCR Arrays are the most reliable tools for analyzing the expression of a focused panel of genes. Each 384-well plate PCR Array includes SYBR Green-optimized primer assays for a thoroughly researched panel of relevant, pathway- or disease-focused genes. PCR Arrays can also be customized to contain a panel of genes tailored to your specific research interests.

Typical OutputReport containing statistical assessment of comparative groups is provided along with the raw Ct data in format compatible with Microsoft Excel.
How to RequestLogin through https://client-seqcore.brcf.med.umich.edu and then choose “Sample QC” to submit samples. On the page showing Service Requested, select one of the Bioanalyzer RNA chip options. In the “Reason” pull-down menu, choose “Targeted PCR based array submission”. Add additional information (e.g., “Please run Human Breast Cancer Array PAHS-131Z”, “Samples are for Mouse Angiogenesis”, etc.) in the “Additional Notes” section.
Sample RequirementsA minimum of 100 ng total RNA for Standard Processing
A minimum of 25 ng total RNA for High Sensitivity Processing
Typical Turnaround3 to 4 weeks, however, timing is dependent on availability of arrays, which are purchased as needed.
Critical InformationRNA quality and concentration are confirmed for an additional fee (see QC FAQ) before beginning any Microarray project. Please consult with the Manager before submitting samples that are known or suspected to be of low concentration or highly degraded (i.e., from FFPE sources).
