Critical Information | To achieve a similar number of reads per sample special care must be taken when pooling samples for sequencing. Samples are carefully quantified, balanced and pooled. Barcode balance is another important aspect of multiplexing. Illumina has guide lines for each of there different barcodes sets on the optimal barcodes to be multiplexed together based on the total number of samples being combined.
