In this webinar, we will guide researchers through some of the most important aspects of a bulk RNA sequencing experiment: experimental design, sample preparation, QC, sequencing, and initial interpretation of preliminary results. We will present guidelines on experimental design and describe how these considerations can critically impact the utility of the resulting data. We will consider key metrics in determining sample quality, and cover some details of Illumina sequencing chemistry, highlighting the most important things to keep in mind when making library preparation and sequencing decisions. Finally, we will provide a high-level overview of key data outputs. This webinar aims to provide essential guidance to researchers as they consider RNA sequencing experiments.
