DNA Sequencing Core Symposium: Honoring Bob Lyons

DNA Sequencing Core Faculty Director Bob Lyons, Ph.D., is ending his stellar 23-year career at the University of Michigan on Thursday, November 8 with a symposium. Join us in celebrating his retirement.
The event will include:
- Remarks from Steve Kunkel, Ph.D., Senior Associate Dean for Research
- Matthias Kretzler, MD, Warner-Lambert/Parke-Davis Professor of Medicine, Professor of Internal Medicine and Research Professor, Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics, Medical School: “From Transcripts to Treatments: 14 Years of Mapping Transcriptional Pathways to Cure Glomerular Diseases.”
- Stephen Parker, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics, Assistant Professor of Human Genetics: “Seq-ing for Function in the Non-coding (Diabetic) Genome.”
- Strolling Reception in Taubman Lobby (refreshments will be served)
